I had the pleasure of working the physical design team and content at Local Projects to create a series of films for the ”Courage to Act” exhibit at the Museum of Jewish Heritage. The contents are developed from writing to live action, voice over re-enactment, design and animation. The films are integrated with physical design to create an immersive experience. This is just a small sample of the exhibit designed for ages 9 and up, so enjoy the full experience at the Museum of Jewish Heritage in Battery Park with the whole family.

A 6 minute film about the story of the Gerda III, one of many small vessels used in the Danish Rescue. The journey told the crossing of the Øresund sea to Sweden, rescuing the Danish Jews from Nazi persecution in WWII. A collection of oral histories interweaved to create a linear narrative. The film is projected over a physical reproduction of the Gerda III to create an immersive experience.
We developed 3 live action characters through a collection of testimonies from different survivors. We follow how their life changed during the German occupation in Denmark during WWII throughout the exhibit.
The pepper’s ghost projection of our three characters are filmed and integrated with practical props and a digitally composited backdrop to create a diorama of the Gammel Strand fish market in Copenhagen during WWII.
Live action characters and edited archival footage embedded throughout the physical installation.

A tryptic 10 minute documentary style film created from archival interview footage. Combining interview footage, illustration, archival photos, stocks and animation to create an emotional film about the five survivors featured throughout the exhibit.
Imaginary Forces was tasked to create 8 films for United Technologies new Center For Intelligent Building. These 3 films are playing in their immersion theater that is about 32 ft long and 8ft high. We combined corporate footage, design and stock footage to create compelling stories from United Technologies. My involvement as an Art Director/Co-Director was from writing to picture.

This Oreo Wonderfilled project was displayed in Time Square to capture the attention of tourists and locals alike. Spread across several screens on the NASDAQ and Thomson Reuters buildings, this project showed how different types of characters share an Oreo in a playful way to celebrate the New Year.
